Miu Miu Fall 2012 RTW

After skipping the spring's runway for Miu Miu, which I didn't much tbh, the fall collection caught my attention again.
Here are the 3 designs I liked the most:

I recently opened a Society6 account, so now you can buy this illustration as a print, iphone case or skin or as a postcard!

You can see the whole show in this Youtube video

Vintage and second hand hunt

Last week I went with a friend to rediscover Barna (why is it that foreign people know more about the place where you live than yourself??).
(Remember to click on any picture to see it bigger!)

She took me to her favorite vintage shop called Lullaby vintage, and of course, I had to get something D:
 Pretty baby yellow blouse ♥
And a kinda sporty, retro top. Cute ♥

This shop is located in the number 22 of Riera Baixa street, which is a street full of second hand/vintage shops like M.O.T.E.L., G.I.Joe, Billie Jean, Carrousel, Smart and clean, Slang, De Faralaee and Lailo.

Went into almost all of them, but didn't get a single piece of anything. I am prouf of my endurance skills! (which failed on me two days ago when I got three cameras in a street market D:)

Also went to the Kling shop, there are lots of shops that carry stuff from them which you can find everywhere, but only one brand shop.
Picture from their website
I didn't get anything from there (was so tempted to buy a super cute round straw hat!), but just going there was worth it, super cute shop!
Check the location on google maps, if you ever happen to come to Barcelona.
And the greatest thing, you can buy online!
There's also a few great cute/indie shops in that street (Banys nous).

What I did get were some cute headphones from the brand Onto, which are awesome sound-wise.
Got them at a shop called The rent shop where my friend got a pair of Vivienne Westwood's Melissa flats for only 25€! (no right size for me=no shoes for me orz)

I also have been doing some personal vintage hunt in my mom and grandma's closets, which led to the greatest findings:

This pair of Missoni glasses I now use as my regular pair of glasses after having the glass changed to my eye prescription.
I am in love.
These ones are a pair of sunglasses which are too cool for words.
Which I also love to death.
These ones are Laura Biagiotti. I still need to change the glass, but I'm sure I'll eventyally do.

All of these I got from my mom. And she got them more than 20 years ago! It is quite amazing she still has them since she likes to throw away everything she doesn't use anymore.

And this kids, is why you should never ever throw anything away, you never know what you son/daughter will love when they grow up!

Like this bra I got from my mom also, which is extremely cute, even if I forgot to draw the dots on it!

This is a dress my granny made for my aunt in the 80s or the 90s that she used to wear to go partying.
I still need to gather the courage myself to wear it! (outside my house, that's it).

I've got a big announcement to make, that will be accompanied by a giveaway. Tomorrow. So stay tunned! haha

Miumiu goes online

I promise a much more extensive kind of posts (with lots pictures and yumminess) coming this next weeks, but just to try and not lose the posting spirit, I'll post this candy.

Miumiu (I bet you're tired of reading me talk about them all the time) opened their online store yesterday.
Yes, the most pretty stuff just a click away.

The store opened with their SS 2011 collection, and I'm so tempted (really, I just need the money) to get all I've been dreaming about.

Would I dare get them for 400€? I'm afraid I'd get them if I had the chance to try them... *throws wallet as far as possible*

Latest purchases, cleaning day and something about my dad's birthday

Some purchases I made today, I wanted a couple of things from Blanco and since I found a 20% discount code two days ago, I decided it was time to go.
The purse I've been looking for days wasn't there, so instead I got this skirt. Looks like something LizLisa would do, doesn't it! Plus, it came with the (brown) belt.

New bikini! I don't really need one, but I fell in love with this one's print. So since I had the 20% discount code, I got it! It was pretty cheap anyways so...

Close-up of the print because I like it lots!

Then I went to the art supply shop and got all this.

Canson paper, I love to draw on canson paper! In fact, the bookmarks for the giveaway are drawn in canson paper.
White acrylic paint (run out of it! and it's a vital "color" for me!)
And last but not least, a canvas. My dad's bd is in a couple of months, and he's been asking me to paint something for him for quite a while now. This is just the right time! haha.

And I'm pretty broke, so I here and now promise I won't window shop anymore, since that makes me spend *compulsive buyer* D: and I don't have anymore money to spend!

Lastly, my colection of neckleaces (I don't wear them often, so I don't really have many).
This board was full of papers and random shit. I went berserk yesterday and cleaned it.

1-Hindu/indian/don't-really-know hand I got from my mom's friend a long time ago.
2-Turtle pendant my friend bought me from his trip to Puntacana.
3-Ribbon necklace from H&M.
4-Holga necklace my friends made for my birthday Better pic here.
5-Barbie pendant I got thousand of years ago when I was a Barbie fanclub member.
6-Two hearts necklace I made.
7-Ai Otsuka's Love bunny a friend got me in Budapest giveaway :D
10-Shu-shu I made from scrap clothes. With a clown print.
11-Another big clip. Black this time. I think I stole both clips from my sis... Anyways, she hasn't said anything about them yet, so I think I'm safe.
12-Super amazing indian-inspired elephant necklace! Got lots of compliments when I wore it for the first time the other day!
13-Super old black shu-shu.
14-Super normal black band.
15-Paper where I've written all the plants I want.
16-Paper where I've drawn a few clothes of mine. Just because I like them I suppose.
17-Random mask I got somewhere. But I think it's pretty just hanging on there.

That's it for today!

Yumi and its sweet possibilities

Lately, I find myself browsing Yesstyle for no aparent reason.
I don't really like online shops with massive accumulation of brands and whide range of products, since this makes everything in the shop look poor quality (at least in my opinion), but I've been reading about yesstyle in a lot of places, and it really seems to offer fair quality for the prices they have (which, btw, are super affordable).
And they also have lots of cute items! All from asian brands, you can find clothes from Japan, Korea, Taiwan,...

Now reaching 30.000 fans on facebook they're offering a 10USD discount ticket, and that ends today!

Code is YESSTYLEFB30K or YESSTYLEFB30KHK(for HK shipping users)
Plus, you also get a 5USD dicount ticket if you joint them at twitter.

Now, some of my fav selected clothes from the site!
(click on the picture to see more info)

Big source for mori-styled clothes!

I'm in love with these vests!

And the star of my findings today, lace cardi!
So light, and the color is super cute!

Ok, I'll admit all these clothes are all from the same brand, Yumi, but I'm in love wiht it! Haha
Description of the brand from the site:
Established in 2008, up-and-coming Taiwanese label YUMI is no mere follower of passing trends. The brand integrates facets of each season's trends into casual wear designs, forming a collection of separates for young women that are wearable but still fashionable. Always putting comfort first, YUMI uses quality fabrics with interesting textures for its pieces ranging from the classic tee to the boyfriend cardigan. YUMI proves that simple and casual minimalist designs can go a long way.
So, what do you think about it? Have you ever bought anything form yesstyle? anything to share?

Also, don't forget to enter the giveaway!!

Waiting for summer

This summer, I've decided, will be a marine and kind-of-mori summer.
I've never had a really strong fashion sense, or the will to buy clothes while thinking about the rest of my wardrobe. I always picked anything I liked, not worrying about if that matched with the rest of my clothes or if I had any shoes for it.

So this summer I want to be more consistent and keep with the marine theme.
I love the beach and I spend most of my summer-time there (or super near), and I love marine items, so no other reason needed.
And I think the white and lacy side of the mori trend just gets along super-well with what I have in mind.

Now with this strong conviction I present my latest purchases for summer!

Shirt from H&M, 4,99€. Super big (it's an M, couldn't find an S) and super comfortable too. White with thin orange stripes. Orange is not my color, but this is a soft kind of orange and isn't the main point of the shirt. so it's ok.

Pants from H&M too, got them for 5€, they were on sale!
I didn't have any pair of long jeans, so that was a major cause buy. And the patches make them look cute and not as plain as any other pair of jeans. Just what I need!

Socks from H&M too (I'm an H&M addict or what?!). Super cute! Got them for 2,99€ or so. They're a creamy color with sewed dots on them in a darker tone. Combine perfectly with the jeans and the Blanco shoes.
Got another pair for the same price with a floral print. Don't know what to do with them. Yet.

Shoes from Blanco. 19,99€. Plain an simple, but more comfortable than most of the heels I've tried on that store.

Also got a pair of flower tights from Blanco (for about 6€) and a pair of socks, like the H&M ones, just pink with black dots... impulsive buy since they were 3€ and I don't know how to match them XD *fails*

And last but not least, I also got a new pouch for 3€, what can I say, it's gold! Perfect marine item, imho.
Also got this ruffle vest from H&M for 10€.
What to wear with it is now my biggest question.
(see what I said about buying without thinking?...)

Enought for now, huh?
I'll show you my marine collection next time.

P.D.: I'm sorry about the pic's quality... I promise I'll try harder next time!
