Coordinate catch up #2

I've decided to make the coordinate catch up post weekly. This means you can expect a coordinate post every Friday c:
Also, as I've said a couple of times, I also like to cook. Well, more like I like to eat yummy things, thus I had to learn how to cook. This means I'll start to draw simple cooking recipes about yummy things I like, and I hope I can post them every Wednesday too. Hope I can keep up and that you all like it c:

Anyways, here we go with this past few days coordinates!

Sunday 18th. First one is from my friend's birthday party at her uncle's pool. It was in a place hidden in the woods... so hard to find! XD But we got there safely, so it was alright. I had my h&m floral onepi, flip-flops, pastel leopard bikini underneath, bag from Primark and my scarf-headband.
Monday 19th. Next day I had to go with my grandma to the hospital, since she was having minor surgery that day. Had to stay in the hospital all night thought. My outfit was pretty simple, but since I had lots of time, I drew it: braided fringe, Stradivarius t-shirt, h&m lace skirt and Blanco flats.

Friday 26th. I had a job interview and had to go fetch Mayuko at the airport that day. So I was running arround all the time that day! haha
Since I had a job interview, I decided to go a little (just a little!) formal. Blue oysho dress plus new cardi from Mango plus my Blanco-chanel flats. And my new necklace from Primark. yay.

Went to Parc Güell and had to be comfortable. So just wore a simple T-shirt, green shorts and sneakers with white socks. Plus, my EOS 350D and 2l of water. And my magnificient giraffe sunglasses.

August 3rd. This was a couple of days ago. My parents are going on vacation to Santiago de Compostela starting this Sunday and my sister went to my aunt's today, so we had dinner at a japanese restaurant to kinda say goodbye, haha. (That also was a personal celebration since the house is mine for a week! yay!)
I wore my purple on the sleeves Listen Flavor t-shirt (haven't been wearing anything from LF for a while! what's with me!) with my hight waisted checkered skirt from H&M (which I love to death). Plus Blanco flats and simple hair.

And these are just a couple of hairstyles i think are perfect for summer. Cute, stylish and fresh tehee.
Well, I know this is a bad escuse, but I just wanted to post this last drawing...

Latest purchases, cleaning day and something about my dad's birthday

Some purchases I made today, I wanted a couple of things from Blanco and since I found a 20% discount code two days ago, I decided it was time to go.
The purse I've been looking for days wasn't there, so instead I got this skirt. Looks like something LizLisa would do, doesn't it! Plus, it came with the (brown) belt.

New bikini! I don't really need one, but I fell in love with this one's print. So since I had the 20% discount code, I got it! It was pretty cheap anyways so...

Close-up of the print because I like it lots!

Then I went to the art supply shop and got all this.

Canson paper, I love to draw on canson paper! In fact, the bookmarks for the giveaway are drawn in canson paper.
White acrylic paint (run out of it! and it's a vital "color" for me!)
And last but not least, a canvas. My dad's bd is in a couple of months, and he's been asking me to paint something for him for quite a while now. This is just the right time! haha.

And I'm pretty broke, so I here and now promise I won't window shop anymore, since that makes me spend *compulsive buyer* D: and I don't have anymore money to spend!

Lastly, my colection of neckleaces (I don't wear them often, so I don't really have many).
This board was full of papers and random shit. I went berserk yesterday and cleaned it.

1-Hindu/indian/don't-really-know hand I got from my mom's friend a long time ago.
2-Turtle pendant my friend bought me from his trip to Puntacana.
3-Ribbon necklace from H&M.
4-Holga necklace my friends made for my birthday Better pic here.
5-Barbie pendant I got thousand of years ago when I was a Barbie fanclub member.
6-Two hearts necklace I made.
7-Ai Otsuka's Love bunny a friend got me in Budapest giveaway :D
10-Shu-shu I made from scrap clothes. With a clown print.
11-Another big clip. Black this time. I think I stole both clips from my sis... Anyways, she hasn't said anything about them yet, so I think I'm safe.
12-Super amazing indian-inspired elephant necklace! Got lots of compliments when I wore it for the first time the other day!
13-Super old black shu-shu.
14-Super normal black band.
15-Paper where I've written all the plants I want.
16-Paper where I've drawn a few clothes of mine. Just because I like them I suppose.
17-Random mask I got somewhere. But I think it's pretty just hanging on there.

That's it for today!

Wow!

I come back from dinner and what do I find... a message from PetSugar telling me I got this!

PetSugar is a blogger I started following a while ago, even before starting to comment on her entries and way before I started this blog, just because everything related to her is cute!

And now she creates an award and I'm one of the first people to get it! I have butterflies in my tummy!
So I want to say thank you so much! I'm incredibily happy to know someone likes this places as much as I do and I'm going to attach this to my sidebar right now!

Now, following the rules...

3 reasons why I'm cute myself... I like to wear bows! I wear skirts as much as I can! and... I like to do my hair! (this reminds me... I'm posting soon about my favorite hair-tutorials from magazines)

Post a picture of yourself as a young little cutie.

I don't know if you meant it literally, but this is from when I was... 4-5 yo I think. Helping my mum with Christmas dinner! (And I miss my natural blond hair ;_;)

Describe the least cute thing you do. Hum... I can't say in public the least cute thing I do! I'm a lady! XD but the second one could be... I don't talk in a hight pitched voice? Japanese girls do that to seem cuter... XD (I never understood why they do that, it's pretty annoying in most cases)

Post a picture/video you find incredibly cute to the point of melting.

Guess who she is... right! MEG! XD twice in a row... wow!
I'm in love with the parts where she's in that kind of garden with the kitties...

So well, to match this entry, I leave you all with what have been my nails until a couple of days ago.

Ahargrha aren't they a bit creepy? I swear my hands are nicer in real life.

Actually, this was painted with the actual nail polish, hur hur.
And it's from H&M, super cute color but super smelly too, better have your windows wide open when you're doing your nails with this!

Summer hair

My memory's pretty bad, so unless I write things down, I'm most likely to forget them, being them things I like or not.
(Also, sorry about this long absence, got no internet service until today!)

This time I made a "list" of hairstyles I wear the most, find super cute and want to try.
I've learnt most of this from magazines, but there's always a bit of imagination when doing my hair.

Usually, for schooldays I just brush my hair since I wake without enought time to do anything (I liiiike to sleep). But when I have the time, I love to do my hair and use hair accessories.

So here is a selection of hairstyles I plan on using this summer. I'll leave my hair accessories for another entry.
(as always, click on the pictures to see them bigger)

This is one of the styles I wear the most. It's pretty quick to do once you get the jist of it and looks super cute. I always use that transparent elastic bands since I like how the braids look as they were magically tied XD but one can always use some flower-bands or something.

This one is one of my most favorites, like the one above. It's super easy to do, is super confortable in summer and I have lots of ribbons to go with it!
Besides, you can always make simple variations depending on how loose you make it, bigger or smaller, fluffier, ...

I wear this one when I feel my hair's dirty. Since my hair is a bit greasy, I try to wash it every two days, so the second day I feel like I haven't washed it in weeks (even if it's perfectly fine).
That's why I like to braid my fringe, so I can feel better with my hair (the fringe is the part that looks dirty, so braided fringe=clean hair XD...).

This is the last (but not least) of my top 4.
Pretty simple but cute nonetheless. I like to use a big shu-shu on top of the tail. It just makes me look more childish, but I like it XD

These two are a pair I'd like to try. They're using the now trendy headbands (talking about headbands, I'd really like to get a braided one... I haven't seen any in the shops i usually go) and look simple and easy to do, so perfect for a party in the beach!.

I've always used them, mostly at home, since I have thin hair and they tend to fall off my head... not really comfortable when you're outside.

Another thing that's pretty trendy right now are flower bands (or shu-shu/シュシュ as japanese like to call them) or just fluffy bands. Everything revolves about the flower/natural trend.

Other hairstyles I find cute are these were you ruffle your hair, do random bucles and give a lot of volume. I do like volume *nods* Somethin my hair is against, sadly.

Ribbons to adorn your hair. Always trendy, always cute.

So, what are your favorite hairstyles? Where do you find your inspiration when doing your hair?

Waiting for summer

This summer, I've decided, will be a marine and kind-of-mori summer.
I've never had a really strong fashion sense, or the will to buy clothes while thinking about the rest of my wardrobe. I always picked anything I liked, not worrying about if that matched with the rest of my clothes or if I had any shoes for it.

So this summer I want to be more consistent and keep with the marine theme.
I love the beach and I spend most of my summer-time there (or super near), and I love marine items, so no other reason needed.
And I think the white and lacy side of the mori trend just gets along super-well with what I have in mind.

Now with this strong conviction I present my latest purchases for summer!

Shirt from H&M, 4,99€. Super big (it's an M, couldn't find an S) and super comfortable too. White with thin orange stripes. Orange is not my color, but this is a soft kind of orange and isn't the main point of the shirt. so it's ok.

Pants from H&M too, got them for 5€, they were on sale!
I didn't have any pair of long jeans, so that was a major cause buy. And the patches make them look cute and not as plain as any other pair of jeans. Just what I need!

Socks from H&M too (I'm an H&M addict or what?!). Super cute! Got them for 2,99€ or so. They're a creamy color with sewed dots on them in a darker tone. Combine perfectly with the jeans and the Blanco shoes.
Got another pair for the same price with a floral print. Don't know what to do with them. Yet.

Shoes from Blanco. 19,99€. Plain an simple, but more comfortable than most of the heels I've tried on that store.

Also got a pair of flower tights from Blanco (for about 6€) and a pair of socks, like the H&M ones, just pink with black dots... impulsive buy since they were 3€ and I don't know how to match them XD *fails*

And last but not least, I also got a new pouch for 3€, what can I say, it's gold! Perfect marine item, imho.
Also got this ruffle vest from H&M for 10€.
What to wear with it is now my biggest question.
(see what I said about buying without thinking?...)

Enought for now, huh?
I'll show you my marine collection next time.

P.D.: I'm sorry about the pic's quality... I promise I'll try harder next time!
