Brand introduction. Or more like, a way to find new things.

Weekend is coming! And I won't be arround here, so I should post already or you'll have to wait until Monday c:
I'm not very much inspired (what's happening this week with me??) so I'll just post about some eyecandy I found some months ago.

Zozo resort is another of your japanese online super big stores (kinda like Rakuten) with lots of brands, where more "indie" fashion can be found.
Zozo also lets you create your own blog, much more simple and with less features than what, for example, ameba could offer.

You can find MEG's blog hosted at zozo people and Carolina Glaser staff's blog too, with updates from the shop and everything. A bating ape has a presence there too, to name a couple of more popular names.

I've also found some really interesting shops and pieces from independent designers. Really cute stuff arround there! (pretty expensive too, I assume most of the pieces are OOAKs and the like).

First brand i want to talk about is Syrup. (fullstop included in the name), blog here.
Amazing, cute, pretty, wonderful, out of a cupcake, agsgagh!

Another brand I came to like is Mother. It's less showy than Syrup. but has an adult but natural feeling that I find very appealing. Everyday wear very much.
This brand's designer is a super cute girl called Eri who is a designer for another couple of brands (amazing!).

And taling about MEG (what? I'm sure it's the first time I talk about her!) her collaboration with Frappbois is already sold out!
No wonder at all though.

Nakata and a few more personalities did collaborate too, but hers was one that sold out fast (the rest are close too, if they didn't already).

She also appears in Frapbois's new video for their autumn/winter collection, stopmotion cuteness.

I'm not much impressed with the video. It's pretty, but not amazing. She looks ultra cute as always though.
Also, the music is composed by her and Dave Liang as it seems (not much lyrics to be credited). Not too sure about that D:

My pick-ups

Super sweet onepiece. Dots and pastels, what else do I need?

I don't know why, since this isn't the type of jewlery I wear (if I wear any), but I find this lovely and pretty summerish.


All the clothes are pretty average and following the main trend this year, but the way they show the clothes and the feeling the whole brand and the catalogues gives, makes it so appealing.
I'd really like to visit their store just to see how it is!

Cath Kidston

Cath Kidston is famous for her vintage inspired prints, mixing the whimsical the classic and the nostalgic. Pretty and stylish clothing and accessories, gorgeous home accessories and tempting stationery and books. You can also buy Cath Kidston fabric by the metre if you feel like working her prints into your own creations!

I first got to know them throught a book I bought in Manchester last summer. I didn't know anything about them, I just liked vintage, and that book was called "tips for vintage style" and was pretty cheap, so I got it.

And a couple of weeks ago I downloaded a japanese magazine dedicated to them.

This brand is getting pretty popular in Japan now. I've already seen quite a few people wearing things from them. And I can't blame them, their patterns, their products, even their marketing and philosphy. They all just seem so nice and produce such cute and beautiful things, they had to become big.

They also have an online magazine with topics, interviews, a cute photoshoot and more. A 100-pages long magazine worth taking a look.

I'll scan my book soon, so I'll post again about them. Meanwhile, you should delight yourself with their creations!

Shoes

If I had the money, I'd be a compulsive buyer.
But since I don't, I only can dream of being one.

But one hability I certainly have is this one that allows me to find the prettiest of the stores on the web.

So yesterday was that time of the week (sometimes month) that I find pretty stores.

Then was when I started my list of ...

Just a quick list (only 3 pairs).
Just 3 on my wishlist?? obviously no XD Just wait a bit and you'll see the rest.



This are from Rapty (http://www.rapty.com), a super nice japanese store that sells lots of clothes and accessories too.
Nothing really new, super classic. But I've wanted a pair like that for quite a long time now.

This site's not english-friendly, so you can't order directly from them if you don't know japanese (doubt they send overseas anyways). But I'd like to buy from them anyways, not expecting much about the quality, the price is pretty cheap.



Rowky is a corean shop with lots of nice things too (http://rowky.com). They copy quite a lot of japanese clothes and accesories, they even use magazine pages and spank! logos, but they also have original pieces.

First pair, I saw similar ones at H&M once, and fell in love, but when I came back to get them, they weren't there... I've been thinking about them since then.

And about the second pair, I've seen that kind of shoes often in magazines, and I think they combine nicely with quite a lot of things.

Unless you know corean, it's best to use a shopping service, since the whole site is in corean, and I can't even find if they ship internationally (I suppose they don't, since they don't have an english version of the site or the shopping cart).


That two sites were my yesterday's big find. Another store where I could go broke.
