I wanted to take pics of my plants, and the cute roses that are starting to bloom, but it's been raining nonstop for the past three days, so I'll wait until the sun comes out!
Instead, I'm posting about one person that influenced me and the way I draw alot.
His name's Quino and he's an Argentinean. He was 3 yo when he decided he was going to draw for a living. He had a hard start, but now he's widely recognized.
He's a critic autor, always saying the truths everybody else doesn't want to see. He talks about politics, society, the world,...
Mafalda is a 5-ish year old girl with an innocently sharp mind.
She ask herself why the world isn't a better place when it's as easy as loving everyone for what they are.
She loves the beatles, reads the newspaper and listens to the radio. Has a baby-brother and a group of friends, all of them as clever as Mafalda in their own way.
From his "yes... darling" book. A collection of ilustrations about couples, relationships, love and age.
-Say Felipe, do you realy think TV ruins children's imagination?
-Well, I don't know, I've never thought about it.
-Racists!
First row
-Tell me dad, when you were a kid, did you ever hated school?

-Maths...
-And gramm...
-ar, yes! And maps, and exams, and...!
-She started...
Second row
-Nerv-calm drops...
-¿Nerv-calm? It isn't for you, is it?
-For me? Noo..
-Ah...
-It's for my dad. Eventually he didn't tell me what erotism is... Could you please explain...
-The pharmacist had the 20 missing drops.
