Half of the world is living in winter clothes, but down here, I'm still sweating every time I go out (even though it's been raining for days now).
So take this as inspiration for days to come (even though these scans are from past seasons).
But there are always things that never go out of fashion, and even if they do, one likes them so much it doesn't matter anyways.

Short hair post inspiration

After three years of not going to the hairdresser (three years?! Well, I usually cut my bangs and my sis cuts my ends) I'm finally getting a haircut in two hours! Yey!
And I want it shorrrt (yes, it's summer here in Australia! It's been hard for me and my long hair! haha)

Although I know I'll end up just telling the hairdresser "Do whatever you want, but I want it short", this was a nice post to make.

Vintage and second hand hunt

Last week I went with a friend to rediscover Barna (why is it that foreign people know more about the place where you live than yourself??).

She took me to her favorite vintage shop called Lullaby vintage, and of course, I had to get something D:

And a kinda sporty, retro top. Cute ♥

This shop is located in the number 22 of Riera Baixa street, which is a street full of second hand/vintage shops like M.O.T.E.L., G.I.Joe, Billie Jean, Carrousel, Smart and clean, Slang, De Faralaee and Lailo.

Went into almost all of them, but didn't get a single piece of anything. I am prouf of my endurance skills! (which failed on me two days ago when I got three cameras in a street market D:)

Also went to the Kling shop, there are lots of shops that carry stuff from them which you can find everywhere, but only one brand shop.

I didn't get anything from there (was so tempted to buy a super cute round straw hat!), but just going there was worth it, super cute shop!
Check the location on google maps, if you ever happen to come to Barcelona.
And the greatest thing, you can buy online!
There's also a few great cute/indie shops in that street (Banys nous).

What I did get were some cute headphones from the brand Onto, which are awesome sound-wise.
Got them at a shop called The rent shop where my friend got a pair of Vivienne Westwood's Melissa flats for only 25€! (no right size for me=no shoes for me orz)

I also have been doing some personal vintage hunt in my mom and grandma's closets, which led to the greatest findings:

This pair of Missoni glasses I now use as my regular pair of glasses after having the glass changed to my eye prescription.
I am in love.

These ones are a pair of sunglasses which are too cool for words.

Which I also love to death.

These ones are Laura Biagiotti. I still need to change the glass, but I'm sure I'll eventyally do.

All of these I got from my mom. And she got them more than 20 years ago! It is quite amazing she still has them since she likes to throw away everything she doesn't use anymore.

And this kids, is why you should never ever throw anything away, you never know what you son/daughter will love when they grow up!

Like this bra I got from my mom also, which is extremely cute, even if I forgot to draw the dots on it!

This is a dress my granny made for my aunt in the 80s or the 90s that she used to wear to go partying.

I still need to gather the courage myself to wear it! (outside my house, that's it).

Have you ever had your wisdom teeth removed? Well, I did last friday, which resulted in me staying the whole weekend at home. Which ended in me finding this cute videos.

Mori girl papier

Just a few snaps and since the magazine talks for itself. Not much wording that needs translating (concerning general Mori knowledge).
Plus, Mori girl papier is not like Mori girl note, which gives guidelines and tips about being a mori. This one is more like any other magazine featuring any other style.

This time we got Aya Hirayama on the cover. Who you can also find on Poupee with her own "shop"! Not very mori over there though! hehe
(btw, if anyone's interested in playing Poupee and wants an invite from me, just leave me a note here!)

The magazine features French Lippée a lot this time. Which is a brand I must talk about soon. It's like a mori Tsumori Chisato! Adorable, pretty, cute!

Looks like more vivid colors (not just pastels as we were used to) will appear in summer. Just, as layered as before. So keep your cool and keep cold in the forest.

Make-up hand-me-downs

It seems like my mum has been reading my mind lately.
First I noticed my blush (the one on the right, Maybeline) was starting to run out, on the same day, she gave me hers (the one on the left, Bobbi Brown) without me saying anything.
For which I'm really glad, since I'm in love with Bobbi Brown's pale pink blush! (I used to secretly borrow it from her, now there's no need for that!)

A few days later I started to notice how my brown eye pencil was getting smaller and smaller.
Then my mum suddenly took out all the make-up she was not using anymore and gave it to me. And one of the little treasures was this brown Lancôme pencil.
Which is really nice and lasts longer than the Elisabeth Arden I was currently using (which my mum gave for my birthday last year).

So yeah, my mum's the make-up gurú at home! haha

I'm really curious, who's your personal make-up "gurú"? Or the person/people/site you turn to when facing make-up dilemmas?

You know spring is here when you buy light clothes and don't feel bad about it. (And your mom approves <3)

I love winter, but I'm a more summer-minded person when it comes to clothes, even if it's -0ºC and I only own a couple of jumpers, a couple of long-sleeve (light) shirts and one pair of long trousers, I still buy t-shirts and summer clothes.

It's something I can't fight against!

Miumiu (I bet you're tired of reading me talk about them all the time) opened their online store yesterday.

The store opened with their SS 2011 collection, and I'm so tempted (really, I just need the money) to get all I've been dreaming about.

Would I dare get them for 400€? I'm afraid I'd get them if I had the chance to try them... *throws wallet as far as possible*

Brand introducion: Dazzlin

It's been a while since I last introduced a new brand, so I thought it's time for another introduciton!
(When I say new, I don't mean it's opened recently, I mean new as in, I've never talked about it before/I recently discovered it.)

This time, I want to introduce you all to Dazzlin.
Probably lots of you know about it since it's got featured in plenty of popular magazines, from Cutie to Non-non, Elle, Pop sister to Nylon, Blenda, Nuts,...

Dazzlin featured in April's SCawaii. Playsuit! Dots! Peter pan collar!

They got a super cute catalogue (as to be expected from their clothes!).
You can get the prices just by passing over the pictures.
Next are a few of my fav shots!

I love their "how to be playful without being silly" motto!

This is not as mori as many of you would expect from this blog, but this brand did catch my attention for their playful, happy clothes.
And I'm already thinking about summer. In fact, I never stopped thinking about it. And I can't wait for it to start haha

They also got shots from their catwalk show for 2011 SS on their web. Which as you'll see are super fun!

Dazzlin, of course, got an online store where you can find (I'd say) all of their stuff.
I have no way to confirm this, but I've seen most of their runway/catalogue stuff on the site.

Dazzlin has got lots of dresses, shorts, and lacey/see through clothes, and that's why it's getting to become one of my favs, even if I don't know much about this brand yet.

This past February the band Hurts came to play here in Barcelona. And since I fell in love with their music instantanely the first time I listened to them, I flew to get my ticket so I could go.
You should listen to them if you haven't yet, btw. They really are something.

I wish my hair was pink as in the drawing... unfortunately it's not... (someday, you just wait)

I took like, 100.000.000 pictures, which makes me think I should let go of the shutter button from time to time...

I get so excited taking pictures, but then I forget I have to sort them all once I get home. And that's such a pain in the ass with so many pics!

But they looked so amazing and cool on stage I just couldn't help taking a thousand pictures! (even if they all look almost the same D:)

(Btw, and jokes aside, total count: 727 pics, and only about 60 of them made it to the final edit!)

This was my first time seeing them live, and I've gotta say they completely captivated me. Made me fall in love even more with their music, which I thought couldn't happen.

I loved how Theo "commaned" us while he was singing. It looked like we were his orchestra.
They're so charismathic on stage.

Anyways, I tried to edit as less as possible the pics, since the light was so nice. I picked the prettiest ones for you all, so just lay back and enjoy!

When fashion meets cinema. Miu miu, Chanel and Tom Ford

Miumiu released their first short a few weeks ago featuring the Spring 2011 collection.
"The powder room" is the first of a serie of short films called "The women's tales", and it looks very promising. And directed by Zoe Cassavetes.

You can see the video in Miumiu's homepage, or find it on Youtube. Or just keep reading.

Chanel also released a stop motion animation by Peter Philips and Nowness, to promote the brand's make-up line.
You don't need much description, since the video's coming right now. Just enjoy the cheerfulness!

It's not, by far, the first movie/animation/short film by Chanel, since it's widely known (or not?) how mister Lagerfeld likes to film. It's up to you to think if they are as weird as some people say, if they're nice, or just pretty in their very own way.

This next short animation's music's so cute, I had to include it in the post! (made for V magazine). Also for Chanel.

Tom Ford's a Single man must be one of my favorite movies (I've already seen it more than thrice since I got on it on DVD a couple of weeks ago!).
If you haven't seen it yet, I don't know what you're waiting for. It's not just the story, it's the music, the clothes, the light and the colors. And the emotions and feelings that get to you while watching it.

Tom Ford really makes you wonder, why more creators, aside movie-related people, don't make movies (lack of time maybe? haha).
But I really think, movies are not just a way to express one's ideas or feeling. It's also a way to collect a lot of pretty feelings and images and share them. And pretty doesn't just mean flowers in a garden. Prettiness can be found in everything and everywhere.

This is the truth about my first encounter with A single man. I went to see the movie just for this guy. And two hours later I was out of the cinema and the only thing I wanted to do was watch the movie two or three times again in a row.

Mister Ford, do make another movie as as possible!

My new Diana F+ is so cool it glows in the dark!

If you follow me on twitter you may already know about this, but a few weeks ago I got myself a new super duper ultra pretty camera: a Diana F+, special edition, that glows in the dark.
Yup, I'm a sucker for stuff that glows in the dark. You should see my room's ceiling.

Remember the post I made about a Lomography workshop here in Barcelona? Well, I couldn't wait anymore so I got my own camera! tehee

This is my Lomohome btw, if you happen to have one too, don't hesitate to add me!

For 90€ this is what you get, a pretty yellow box with a beauty inside.

It even comes with a manual and a picture book with interviews!

Can you see the stars? They also glow in the dark!

I forgot to take pictures of them, but they also come with (LOTS of) plastic color filters you can use when shooting, and they make your pictures more colorful. Which is really cool. They come in strong red, light purple, navy blue, baby blue, yellow, orange, pretty green, ugly green,...

The shopstaff recommended me this film, Color negative 400ISO for my first time (the pack comes with three rolls of film, not two).
The Diana F+ is a 120mm (medium) format camera, so you need larger rolls than your typical analog camera.

I already developed one of the rolls. I just need to wait for my birthday (next month that is!) to ask for a film scanner so I can show you the pics!

It's way cheaper this way, since developing is 3€ for a 35mm and 6€ for a 120mm film, then developing+scanning is 11€ for each roll.

The results are square format photos but if you are tricky photographer, you can also take panoramic shoots, which are really cool.
I tried it with my camera (only used two frames tho) and (looking at the negatives haha) the results look quite cool.
No picture can come out wrong with an analog camera though.

What's left for me to experiment with is the pinhole function. You let light go inside the camera through a super small hole, which makes you hold the shoot button for a while. Resulting in the so called "dreamy" pics.

How long has it been since my last post? I don't even want to check... But the good news are that I'm not getting that tired anymore after work, I'm getting so used to it I don't fall sleep right after getting home anymore! haha
And what does that mean? More posts coming up in less time! I hope you're all waiting for them! (I know Bianca does ♥ ;D)

Anyways, here are some "recent" coordinates. You can see the dates on the drawings, so you'll see there are no coordinates from this year. That will be left for later.

Last year coordinate. Tehee. These three coordinates are work coordinates. I don't really do much besides going to work, so all I can draw lately are work coordinates. I don't dress much different from my free-time coords, but still.

Listen flavor top, H&M skirt, black tights and Blanco ballerinas. Ballerinas that are getting broken from using them so much ;_; and I can't buy them again anymore... Does anyone know where can I get something similar to these? I don't care if it's an online store. Help pretty please!♥

Another pair of boots that are dead. They definetely broke the other day while going to a friend's house for dinner. Luckyly we only went to his house, then back to mine, so not much walking needed, but still.

Ooops, a couple coordinates from October! I should have posted them long before, but I misplaced them and only got to scan them recently.
This was my first day of class, and it was so cool! I'm learning how to create fabric patterns, and I'm learning lots!

October 6th I realized I never draw any earphones or mp3 with my coordinates, even if I wear them ALL the time when I'm outside.
That was also an interview day, for I job I kinda got (months later) when I already found my actual job.
(And yup, October was still a hot month here).

I think I really should start coloring my coordinates, color is an important part of every coordinate!

How to find the perfect dress.

Hi there guys!

I know I've been away for more than it's usual from me, but if you follow me on twitter, you might know already that I got a job two weeks ago (the time I stopped posting).

That's great news but at the same time, the job is eating up all my time (although I'm enjoying it as much as I can since I'm learning lots!), and when I'm not there, I'm at school, so when I get home I'm really tired and can't get my brain to function, even though I have lots of posts on the queue and in my head.

I also have lots of coordinates drawn, ready to be scanned/edited and posted. But those all will have to wait until I'm used to my new schedule.

All that said (phew, sorry!) I didn't want to end the year without wishing you all a Happy New Year (and a belated merry Christmas, or whatever it is you celebrate in your house, if you do at all).

So, what are you all doing to celebrate the end of the year? Any big list of wishes for next year?

I'm going to a party tomorrow night after midnight, and this in the card are the colors I plan on wearing!

I know someone is trying to make it a twenties-themed party, so I'll try my best to find the perfect dress tomorrow! I have less than 24 hours and I work tomorrow morning... help!

I already got the perfect shoes three days ago and then I'll only need some make-up and everything will be ready!

That reminds me, I have lots of new clothes to post! There's no end to all the things I need to post about. But I don't have the time to!

I know this post is late. VERY late. And I'm sorry about that! I don't know how this happened, but I didn't see Mori girl papier vol.4 neither Mori girl lesson nº3 until a few days ago (phew, this post took so long to get written! haha), that's why I didn't post about it until now.
This issue is supposed to talk about mori girl in the autumn/fall, but you can always use these tips in winter too.

I made a little glossary post of recurrent japanese words you come across when reading magazines, so check it if you're interested! Most of those words are used in this post/magazine hehe

Last time I did a hairstyle inspiration post was at the beginning of Autumn, and now it's Winter alreday, so maybe it's time to get some more inspiration.
This scans come from magazines such as Tomotomo, Fudge and Zipper, which always come with lots of interesting resources.

Brand introduction: Made in Colkinikha

Made in colkinikha is a cute brand inspired by the cold and Russian lands.
Kate Sakai is the designer (and model too) for the brand.
In 1996 she started modeling for a few magazines when she was younger (like the popular no-non) thanks to the english antique shop her parents owned (since 1982). Which also made her interested in clothes, since she was surrounded by them all the time.
While she was in university, she started MIC and started selling in a department store in Shinjuku.
(Everything has been loosely translated by me from MIC's website, so there may be tons of errors. Point them if you find them!)

You can find her blog also hosted in zozopeople, like MEG' and Syrup.

Colkinikha is said to be a (fictional) place in Rusia, it's a small place with 14ºc of temperature, thus it's a cold place.
This small region is situated among many villages, and even if the color of the sky is grey and it's winter every day, the villager's heart is warm and welcoming.
Thus, when you wear the kind of clothes Colkinikha's habitants wear, you'll get the same feeling.

MIC has a romantic side to it, with an obvious reminiscence to western/north Europe feeling, but with a twist, since Sakai goes a bit further than that (physical and creatively), to colder lands in the east like Russia. Which makes great clothes for Mori and Dolly girls.
Her prints sometimes remind me of Tsumori Chisato (which is great, btw! haha)

I specially love their accessories and the watercolor drawings they use for some of their prints (like t-shirts and tights).

You can see their AW collection for 2010 or wheir past catalogues on their website. Which is really cool (there are a couple of catalogues unavailable though, such a pity).
I recommend taking a look at them all. A piece of art every season haha
The ss2009 collection is specially adorable, and the ss2008 is more mori orienter (and the pictures are so pretty too!), but I think this season's the best so far.

Suuuper cute tights from MIC!

MIC doesn't have a physical shop (as far as I know), but they do have an Online shop at the Parco city online shopping mall. They do have a few retailers that can be found in their shoplist section of their blog.

But Sakai also has another trick under her sleeve.
She joined forces with Yasutaka Nakata (Capsule member, MEG producer, etc) to produce a couple of mini-albums to complement MIC.
The duo got the name COLTEMÖNIKHA and together created some amazing electronic/technopop songs. Sakai singing and writing the lyrics and Nakata doing his usual.
The name was the result of joining Contemode (Nakata's label) and Colkinikha.

Coltemonikha have released two mini-albums to date, the first on 17 May 2006 and the second on 26 September of the same year and both are much worth listening.

Cross-proccessing @lomography

Have you ever heard of Lomography?
Lomography is this magical place for all the analog lovers, where they can find their ideal film, a new camera love or even more people that love analog photography as much as them.
And I do love analog photgraphy to death.

Recently I attended one of Lomography's workshops in Barcelona where they explained how the cross-processing works. Which is pretty cool actually.
And of course, we took some pictures.

I used a Diana F+ and a Diana mini, that were lent to us by the Lomo shop.
First, our "teacher" explained some basic concepts of analog photography, and then, arround 5-6 we took the streets and started to fill the streets of Barcelona with snapping sounds. It was already so dark by then! D: But that let us experiment a lot with the flash lights, and that was really cool.

I'm not going to start explaining complicated stuff, since the guys at the Lomo page already did (and in a very easy and understandable way), so I'm just going to post some of the pics I took and shut up until the next post.

3 months later I still have things left to talk about from London. Really. Still one or two posts more after this one.

The truth is, I wanted to post about cupcakes today, but I can't find the pictures anywhere... so I'll leave that for another day and make up for not doing last Friday's Coordinate catch up.

Coordinate catch up #4

So, as promised, coordinate catch up is back this Friday!
I thought about posting one coordinate per day as I wear/draw them, but then I realized that would be even harder to do haha so I'll stick to the catch up.

I was meeting with a friend I made while in London. I wanted to take her to a café/tea/cake shop with super yummy cupcakes, but the shop was full of people (there isn't much space either), so we ended up in a random café.
Anyways, I was wearing my pink knit sweater my grandma made years ago, that is super cute btw. I'll have to make a post about all the pretty things I got at my grandma's last time I visited her♥

It was my cousin's birthday (he's 4yo already♥) so, Bershka stripe shirt+H&M patch pants+Blanco flats+Primark militar-ish jacket I got in Manchester last year♥

School outfit. And I wanted to wear my new shoes (Blanco+half price=pretty pumps for 13€) so since it was a short trip, I wore them to school.

Halloween special!

I dressed up as a "Kindergarten girl who killed her parents and now is traumatized because she realized there's no one left to wash her pretty clothes". Yup, long name, I know. But it was a last minute costume made out from 10-years-ago-costume.

Also, I've been thinking about cutting my hair. There's a strange curse going on that isn't letting my hair grow past my shoulders. Which will result in me not getting the Blue lagoon look I want *tear*.

So, since I'm a drastic solution person, I'll cut my hair. As short as I can (while still looking cute).
Now my hair's two toned (yup, in that trendy two-toned way, and that wasn't even on purpose!), but i don't want to dye it again, I want the healthies ever hair. So I'll be left with a brownish hair.

I'll use my camomille trick to lighten it. But I need the help of sun for that, and it couldn't be cloudier arround here... I'll have to wait a few months (at least until March) so I can use the camomille magic.

Sorry for not posting much this week, but I haven't been feeling weel, and getting posts ready was too troublesome.

Magazine review. Beware: pic heavy!

It's been a while since I last talked about magazines or did a review of them (except for the TC mook)
So now, I'm going to talk about three magazines I love: Fudge, Tomotomo and So-en. You can download these magazines (and a few more) here.

Fudge is about fashion. And culture. And trend. And is not on the mainstream side.
I specially like it because it's full of fashion photography, and has a lot of shop information in it.

Fashion news, streetstyle, London guide this time, cool photoshoots. Lot of fur and knit featured and random brands and shops.

Natural/mori style photoshoot everywhere all the time (at least in this issue).

Beauty articles and how-to's can be found in the magazine too.

Worth taking a look even if it's just for the pictures.

Aaand also has hair style and arranging section!
Plus, movie, music, shop and event review too. You can say this magazine is pretty complete.

Tomotomo is a magazine about hair. But not hair arrange, it's a bit more specialized magazine about cutting your hair, basically. But has lots of pretty pictures of girls. And if you're like me who likes to DIY everything, then you'll like this magazine. If not, you can always bring the hairstyle you like to your hairdressed and get it done exactly like the magazine.

These pictures are just examples of finished stylings, but you can find diagrams and how-to's inside the magazine.

I already talked about So-en before, and even if I like lots all the magazines I post here, So-en is one that's in my top3.
You can find really inspiring images in that magazine, interesting stuff even if you can't read what the text says (and I wish I could,

Has everyone seen "A single man"? Because this is a movie I wasn't interested in a single bit and when I left the cinema, I was completely in love with it.

Anyways, get all this magazines here. And remember to buy whenever you can! (Plus, it's really nice having such magazines on paper, I'd have them all if it wasn't so expensive to import them!)

I haven't been able to find a place online where they sell these magazines (without being overpriced), so if you know any places to get these magazines, please do tell me!

Halloween party!

Here in Spain, we use Halloween as an excuse to party, since kids here really don't do the trick or treat tour.
But what we celebrate here in Catalunya is the "castanyada". With chestnuts and sweet potatoes (and I'm going to go eat some as soon as I'm done with this).

So I'm going to celebrate both, castanyada with my family, and as soon as I'm done, Halloween with my friends and the nightlife of Barcelona! haha

And this is my poor excuse for a costume. Remake of a costume from 10 years ago... let's hope it's dry by the time I go out.

Miu miu SS 2011 - Ready to wear show

I've been meaning to post this since the Miu miu spring 2011 show a few weeks ago, but drawing and editing takes its time and I didn't finish this until yesterday! And I'm glad it took that much time, because my view on the collection changed a bit since I first saw it. So here are my thoughts on it.

I'm not completely in love with it, but I like it more since the first time.
Yes, the jackets are still awkward and the dresses don't look flattering even in small bodies, but now that I'm used to the collection, everything looks more pretty now.
And the shoes aren't that bad.

Four of my favorite looks from the collection. I really liked the third coordinate, including the shoes. Specially the neck of the shirt.
What I didn't like very much were most of the skirts. Too straight and didn't move with the model's body (not all of the skirts did that, luckily).

One thing that stood out while watching the show was how similar are some motifs to Irregular Choice's designs, mainly the stars.

The bags remind me greatly of Victor Horta/Hector Guimard's Modernism. Not all of them, there are some horrible bags thrown into the collection, but a few of them do.

This is not one of the ugly bags, for example.

Also, the loved-by-everyone swam dress and the snake dress remind me of Aubrey Beardsley's drawings. Yup, as I was saying, hello modernism (flowers everywhere too).

Third look, a skirt that looked good, and one of my favorites. Jacked included.
I'd really like to see someone on the streets wearing one of those awkward jackets. They are pretty but the shape is too weird. Like if the person wearing it was an american football player.

Some of the dresses made the models look like they were wearing plastic bags, not very flattering. On the other side, dresses like the swam ones were loose, which looked good.

What I love from the dresses is how, by using the belt, it makes the body shape stand out, and actually showing some shape, even if the models are so thin they have almost no curves. But I think that is a nice contrast. Straight forms are nice, but a bit of shape is pretty too.

Shoes on a close note.
But I'm in love with the shoes, I ought to confess. The color choice may not be the best at times, but putting that aside, I've come to like them a lot. In fact, shoes were the first thing I came to like from this collection.

Again, something that could came from an Irregular Choice shop, but that's something I don't really mind at all (any other IC fan out there?)

Ok, I have to admit defeat. After drawing them, and having to stare at them for a long while, I can say I love them.

Clutches, are you sure they are?

If you look at how models hold the bags, you think they're clutches, don't you?
I like them, a lot. I went from "ergh!" to "I want this and this and this. And I don't like this color but I want it too". But maybe they're too big to just hold them all the time.
Even more if you're like me, whose purse gets full even when going out for a couple of minutes.

Seeing how long the straps are, you might even be able to hand them on your shoulder? That would be great.

The lightning is not the best, and maybe the whole ambience is a bit depressing, but anyways, it's worth watching it.

All the models were walking so awkward... nothing strange seeing how tall the heels were, but still, it looked weird. Distracted me at times.
Loved the make up, though. Nothing complex, but stunning. Cute.

You know those times when you dress, not thinking about how others see you, instead you dress up just for yourself, thinking about that movie you saw last weekend that you liked so much and that left a big impression on you, and then you go to a party dressed like that not giving a shit about the world? Well, that's the impression this collection gives me.

Now, your thoughts on it?

Fur Fur Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear

I'm getting ready my review for the miu miu SS2011 show, but it's taking longer than expected, so meanwhile I want to show you another runway show that caught my attention because it's so cute, I can't stand it. Cute, not in a pinky frilly dress, but in a romantic original way.

It's Fur Fur's show (Aya Furuhashi's brand, I promise to study more and do a whole entry just for her!), and even if it's the first time I hear about this brand, I'm already in love.
Not many words needed, so enjoy the feast!

Layers and mix of textures, what else can I ask for?

This blue one, is the most catchy one in the collection. Almost my favorite. What I specially like is the enormous ribbon and the short red-pinkish hair all together.

Just, this time, it's London edition!
I know I should have done this (two) months ago, but better late than never.

Aug. 26

Getting a plane at 11'30 and then arriving to London at 2am to a hostel room full of people you don't know, isn't the best welcome you'd wish, but I was in London, it was raining and I was happy! (despite spending 10pounds on a taxi since the underground was closed...)

Aug. 27

You can't see much of the outfit in the puri, but at least you can see the hair c: (which always cames out weird in my drawings D:)
Picnic+Hyde park+ASDA day! (Never said anything here, but since last year's trip to Manchester, I'm a super big ASDA fan).

Aug. 28

The dot tights I got in H&M before leaving, they're so cool! (but I don't know where they are now D: I put them in the washing basket and they're lost now XD).
I got two pair of tights, one had big dots, the other had smaller dots. Love love love them very much!
The shirt was a school project where we had to create a t-shirt design then print it on a t-shirt (or whatever kind of top piece of clothing you wanted). Mine was an ice-cream surrounded by space invaders.

Aug. 29

Big hair yay! But my hair's so thin, and the weather was so humid, and even using hairspray, after a few hours my hair was down again... But well, i was happy while it lasted!
Plus, got to wear the headband Mayuko gave me ♥ it's so pretty!

Aug. 30

I know you've seen this coordinate already, but I wore this twice, and since Mako was kind enought to do this drawing for me, I had to post it again ♥ I reeeally love it!
I wish I was as (natural) blonde as she drew me! haha
This was also the Notting hill carnival day! uh-hu! So I had to dress pretty c:

Sep. 1

Wore the same outfit the first and last day, this just means less hassle since it's just traveling day.
Got to go to Banglatown that day (the area is SO pretty!), and since my Reflex run out of batteries the day before I took my werlissa (well, my grandma's more-than-30-yo analogue werlissa) and a roll of film and took about 24 pictures arround there! hehe
So when I get the time to go and develop them myself (which I love) I'll post them here. Don't know when that will be though.
On the departing day I even got to see Scott Pilgrim vs the world! It's like, the second best movie this year (first, of course, was "A single man"), awesome!. I got introduced to the comics by a friend, and liked them very much, and the movie was true to the comic so lovex2!

Every coordinate ended up pretty much as my original intentions, just, I forgot to bring the black shirt I drew here, but well, my suitcase was full enough already and I did get some clothes during my trip too, so it was ok ahha

I also took some secret snapshots of people (shyness too much?), so expect a snapshot catch up post from London too.

Coordinate catch up #3

I've been leaving for later the coordinate drawing for so long, I forgot about most of them! D: bad me...
Anyways, here I bring another coordinate catch up! I hope you enjoy them as much as me drawing them!

This is like, one of the most important days of this year

The sweater is a retro-vintage-handmade one made by my granny more than twenty years ago. And it's so comfy and pretty!
I got a lot more clothes, so I'll be posting about them soon.

The skirt is my lacey skirt from H&M, nothing new. And the shoes are my lovely flower wedges from Blanco.
And leather bag from Misako, which I love.

This was a very important day, as I said, but I can't talk much about that yet, since there's nothing confirmed, but I'll probably start talking about that arround March c:

This is actually a dream coordinate.
I only own the cardigan and the belt, but I (think) I found the pants at Zara's fall collection.
The rest are some cool "high waist" boots and a plain v-neck white tshirt.

And a tupé. Tupés are always the answer for everything.

Since i feel a bit bad for not posting coordinates for so long, I've made an ecchi bonus for you.
Room/sleep wear edition!

This is what I'm actually wearing right now c:
I love love love the top (so long that you can actually wear it as a dress). It's from H&M and made of cotton and it's dotted love.

My hair gets all curly when I don't brush/air dry it. But I think it looks cute, so most of the time I leave the house without even touching my hair ♥

Comfy bun, more-than-20-years-old Benetton T-shirt and pajama pants.
Comfy.

And I go arround the house in flip-flops most of the time.

This is an embarassing secret, so don't tell anyone, but I actually sleep a bit naked on hot summer nights, or when I'm too lazy to look for my pajama (which happens to be all the time).

My computer was out of service until a few hours ago, so the coordinate post I had all drawn isn't edited yet. So, until I get everything ready, I'll leave you with a brand I found a few days ago.
Everything's lovely, and I don't have a single penny... *cries* (you'll find out why soon).

I found about Né-net throught Humor, which is something like a store that holds a few brands. All the information from the website is in japanese, so I can't understand much about it, and I don't really think they ship overseas, but one thing I did understand is that they carry this super nice brand called Né-net!

The shop concept is " Casual wearing shared between couple." That means you can find the same piece as womanswear, menswear or even kidswear.
Cute idea, and cute stuff! I won't talk much about it, but the designer worked in Issey Miyake's studio for a few years, and just that says somethig. More info about the brand here.

Is a né-net sub-brand that's even cuter than the main brand!
You can find the shop here.

A few more brands are listed on Humor, and you can find a few that could blend perfectly with mori style, even if they're not blinding-mori, they make good basic pieces. Some like Kitia or Sunaokuwahara.

Tsumori Chisato is also there. With such wonderful clothes! Really, everytime I see something from that brand I fall in love more and more!

Wow, been away from the blog for a few days and I already have more than 1000+ blog posts pilled up to read!

Anyways, I haven't been drawing much lately, thus I have no coordinate post ready D:
But! I didn't want to leave you hanging without hearing from me, so I'm bringing something cute I got in London!
I suppose everyone knows about Oyster? It's a card that you can use to store money on it and then pay as you go in buses and tube.
So, I got one, and then found this cute stickers to make them prettier. I really only needed one, but as greedy for cute things as I am, I couldn't decide and got those four. So, enjoy the yumminess!

Hairstyles for Autumn

I'm getting ready the coordinates post from London, but meanwhile, I've compiled a few warm hairstyles I think I'll be wearing a lot this autumn/winter. The only thing I'm sad about is that the cold weather came so suddenly I didn't have time to go to the beach one last time this year!

Anyways, after the Summer edition, here I bring my choice of hairstyles for Autumn!

Yup, first of all, I want to say I'm trying to grow my hair suuuuper long. As long as I can.

Fringe+braid head band+long curly hair ♥

I still love big hair. I specially like it when it is Saramari who's doing it! So yeah, I want to try sporting it more!

More big hair. Plus my lace headband which I love to death ♥

And I love this one. Side-bun and adorned with a flower. I'm not over the flower trend yet, and I don't think I'll ever be. hah
And this hairstyle makes me want to go to some caribbean island right now.

This is all I've got for the time being. But that doesn't mean I won't think of more hairstyles tomorrow, I'm pretty out of ideas right now ♥

Those are some crops from Tomotomo, a hair-styling magazine. Aside from hair arranging, they also give tips on cutting and styling.

I love the first one! It's very simple (but not so simple to do D:) but it's so elegant at the same time!

The bun is somenthing I'll always love/will never get tired of it!
And braids are always love and an easy solution for non-inspired days.

When I browse mags or see pics, I tend to notice hairstyles with my same hair-lenght, I'm sorry about that! I'll try to correct this in the future u,u

Well, it was about time I talked about London again!
This time is a post full of photography, so I hope I don't bore you! Next one, I promise, will be about coordinates c:

So, the thing is, three days before leaving, I was at my last hostel when this guy in the same room as me (oh yeah, hostels are great) said something about some party in Notting Hill, which, eventually, Mako and I found out it was Notting Hill's (and Europe's biggest) carnival.

Well, it was really fun, all the music and great costumes, and the dancing and all. But it took us one hour to get out of there! So many people there...

Our lunch there!

Plus, Victoria line was closed, most of the tube exits were closed too... Hell, I tell you, it was hell XD

Also, I ran out of batteries and memory (yep, almost at the same time), so I have no pictures of the whole thing, neither the afterwards.

Review: My Tokyo, by Eloise Rapp

As I announced here a few weeks ago, 5am je t'aime was hosting a giveaway, which, luckyly, I won!

So here's my review of it.

My Tokyo is a 28 pages long, din-A5 sized booklet. But don't let its size trick you, it's full with more than 90 art galleries and shops of all kinds.
Author's words:

All the information in this zine comes from the point of view of a textile and graphic designer with a love for fashion, music, contemporary art, innovative design and of course, Tokyo.

And in my opinion, this is part of what makes this guide so interesting. It's not the same getting a guide written by someone who just loves to travel than getting it from someone who loves art, design and shopping.
This guide made me want to write one about Barcelona! haha this is really inspiring!

The guide is divided into shopping areas, with clear instructions on how to get there, and each area has a map with all the shops located in it, so you can find everything really easy.
You can also find the keys to categorize every shop: from vintage to furniture, from music to books. Love the selection of bookstores!

I really wish I got this guide back when I was planning my first trip to Tokyo!

I need to talk about the design too. Eloise aside from being a textile designer (which I really find very interesting) is also a graphic designer, and you can really appreciate that in the guide.
Inside, you can find a really pretty zine, carefully designed. Easy to read and understand, and let’s say this clearly, pretty to look at.

Shops are presented in a packed BUT understandable way, which makes the zine contain a lot of information in a few pages, but still, readable. Which I love. And you can carry it around with you since it's not heavy and doesn't take up a lot of space.
You can also find summaries, pictures of the shops/items, websites and addresses. Very helpful, this really is a complete guide.

You can find both the paper edition and a pdf version of the guide, and you can get them here. A really fair price for a nice edition, design and selection of places.

And I really recommend you to get it if you're planning going to Tokyo soon (or not so soon). You'll find in this guide cool shops and interesting places to visit that won't be packed of tourist and you'll still be around popular areas like Harajuku (really, if you just step into 3-4 streets away from Takeshita-dori, you'll find a completely different place).

Purikuras make your life prettier.

Phew~ I said I was back, but I haven't been posting anything since the giveaway entry. Damn internet connection! haha Been without it for two days!
So, first post about London will be about something cute.

Like purikuras and drawings.

The reason behind my London trip was Laura's birthday, and she was celebrating it in London this year, so obviously I had to go.

And we went to chinatown to take some purikuras. There are a few puri machines there, but only one is japanese (but 12 pounds per sheet! D:). The others are just a booth with a digital camera and a computer (bleh D:).

Birthday girl is the Ruki-wannabe♥ Or the girl with the golden ribbon. Say happy birthday to her! She's an oldie already!

This girls left two days before me, so I had time to meet with Mako, and took some puris too!♥

She even had the time to draw a mini me! ;A; cutest thing on earth! I'm so in love with this drawing I couldn't stop looking at it while I was waiting for my flight at the airport!

I've gotta say we went to a lot of places in just two days, and we also bought a lot... orz So yeah, expect a post about what I got in London!

I also got my tokyo by Eloise Rapp from the people at 5am je t'aime (thank you so much again!) a few days ago, so I'll be doing a review of it soon. But I've already took a good look at it and can tell you it's great!

First of all, hello, I'm back! I had an amazing time in London, and took so many pictures... I got lots (well, maybe not that much) of post-worthy material that will last for a few entries! haha

Second, I'm amazed at home much the blog has grown even when I was away! Amazing!

I wanted to post a couple of more times before leaving, but I've been busy with all the planning and stuff, so that left not much time to do all I wanted for this blog.

Getting ready for London: clothes and coordinates

Only four days until I leave for London! I'm so excited!
(that also means you only have 9 days to enter my giveaway! Be sure you don't miss it!)

First coordinate is for Laura's birthday picnic party at the park. She said she'll bring LED balloons! How cool is that? Even if it's the first time I hear about that! haha

Second one is just a random coordinate. Bare legs. Will I be cold? XD I bet I'll be at night, but I don't care! 8D I kinda hate long pants. And it's August and so hot here. It's summer here, it will be summer in London! Nobody can say nothing against it! (I love my slef-biased opinions ♥)

Skirt coordinate is for girls night out. We found a few clubs we'd like to go to, but since it seems we have to pay to go in to every one of them, we'll probably just end up in a pub. Which is fine with me too. I only want a couple of tequila shots♥

Last one is just something dirty for the plane. I'll get there late at night and leave London early (6am, too early! orz) so no need for cute coordinates ahah

(btw, sorry for the really quick sketches u,u I promise to do better next time)

So, the rest of the coordinates will be decided pretty much on the spot. This is the rest of clothes I'll be wearing, so you can see how things will be.

Pretty self-explanatory I hope.
And yes, almost all my knickers are culottes with lace 8D
And something I realized while drawing this is the huge amount of clothes with flower patterns I own... Colection that will keep growing for sure! haha
And I suppose I'll be adding more clothes at the last minute, but well.

I plan on getting also a pair of Irregular Choice shoes (if I can find the store/they're still on sales/I find a cute and cheap pair), so maybe I should leave a pair out of the list?
Also, forever21, topshop and Urban outfitters are a must, so more clothes to add to my poor bag?
Agh, so little space so much to take!

Btw, something really important! Is anyone familiar with secon-hand shops or thrift stores in London? I really want to visit some! Any recommendation?

5am Je t'aime is an asian oriented fashion and culture and inspiration blog not much older than 2 months and some days.
And they're generous enought to host a giveaway every month!

I love Tokyo, I love fashion and all this seen from a designer's perspective, is something that can't be missed.

I've been wanting to do this for a long time now, but was always too lazy to do it... haha
This is some simple recipe I discovered while Mayuko was here.
She loves sea weeds, and so her mum made her take this wakame soup thing with her, and we ended up cooking it at my house (and she left the rest to me *w* I still have to packs) with rice! (instead of making soup out of it). I really prefer rice. I love rice! haha

Sammy at The cookie button is organizing a blog swap, where you're paired with a blogger that talks about things you usually don't.
And my partner is Meggs, whose blog is, mainly, about crafts, so here I go!

I'm going to explain a bit how I paint my sneakers.

Materials:
1-Sneakers
2-Water pot
3-Tape
4-Cutter
5-Brushes (in different sizes and shapes)
6-Pots for paint
7-Plate for paint mixing
8-Acrylic paint
9-Glitter (optional)
10-Glue
11-Turpentine
12-Pot for mixing glue and glitter
13-Cloth
14-Colors
15-Paper

Make a sketch of the color and design you want for your sneakers in a paper.

I usually cut all the imperfections the sneakers could have, but you don't really need to do that... that's just me being picky ^^'

Put tape arround the sneakers, so the non-canvas part can't get dirty.

Prepare your colors and pot with water.

Start painting!

I start with the background.

Don't fortget anything!

Acrylics dry pretty fast, so if you want to take a break, make sure to cover the pot so they're still usable once you're back.

Remember to paint every little space of canvas. Little things like that is what make the difference between crappy and nice.

Now that the background's dry, it's time for the pattern or whatever design you thought of.

I wanted to do some flowers, so I thought making a guide would be fast.

But even if you think so, it didn't work as nice as I thought, so I just kept painting them manually.

Once it's done, let it dry. As I said before, acrylic dry fast, so an hour or so will be more than enought.

This is optional, but I thought adding some glitter would it make look cute. Just a bit, too much is... too much XD
Got the tips for adding glitter to a canvas sneakers from violet le beaux, so thanks to her!

Mix glue and glitter in a pot. Paint.

Let it dry.

This is how it will look before it's dry. Don't get scared! It gets better later.

Done! Easy, isn't it! It just takes a bit of your time, but it's worth it.

See? You're ready to rock!

You can do whatever you can think of with them, after all, these are just canvas in a sneaker form!

Brand introduction. Delilah, or how to dress for a party

Barror is going to Japan in a month (I'm so jealous! haha) and since she said she found new brands from Japan that she likes now (and I'm sure will be visiting) throught my blog, I thought I could keep introducing other japanese stuff I like and things I want to do and places I want to visit once I can go back.

This is Aya chan, shop staff and model for the brand.

I'm going to introduce another brand I like lots. It's a dress and jewlery brand called Delilah, and their slogan is "Let's change before the party!". With that few, you can just imagine a bit how their clothing will be.

Many of you, mostly gal-oriented readers, will probably know a bit about this brand already, or at least, recognize the style of clothing, since it's one brand that appears frequently on gal magazines, mainly Ageha. Other magazines they got features in are Seventeen, Vivi and Popteen to name a few.

But! The brand appeared recently in Kera (not their first time there, tho), what demonstrates something I strongly believe in, it's not the brand who makes the style, is how people use the clothes that creates it. So, it doesn't matter if you're a gal, a fairy girl, or whatever, enjoy Delilah with your own style!

They mainly offer onepieces, but they also produce cute camisoles.

And jewlery, cute, sparkly and girlish jewlery.

Even swimsuits!

These two may be my most favorite in the whole shop. And I don't even like bunnies that much!

Delilah is situated near shibuya station, just a few streets away. Here you can see the location in google maps.
And they even have a webshop, in case you can't go in perston to the store (like me) and prefer to order online (I'd really rather go in person to the store though...).
Prices are surely a bit on the high side, but it's worth waiting for the sales, where they reduce the price quite a lot.

It's been three months since this blog's first giveaway, I thought it was time to make another one, since, in that short time, this blog went from barely 20 readers and 1,000 visits to 67 readers (plus the people that reads it annonymously, thanks!) and more than 7,000 visits.
I also have been talking, mostly in the first giveaway, that I was planning something bigger for my first giveaway, but that couldn't be eventually.

Now the time has come and I'm ready to let you all now, I'm so excited about this! I hope you are as much as me!

Mika Ninagawa, colors everywhere.

Mika Ninagawa is a very popular japanese photographer. Her work is colorful, vivid, cheerful... It surely has something very caracteristic in itself.

She's worked with celebrties such as Anna Tsuchiya and Chiaki Kuriyama, also for magazines such as Cutie, So-en, big names such as Tsumori Chisato and Issey Miyake. And this just to name a few. So she's a really recognized name in Japan. And when you see her photographs, you understand why.
There's not much more words can say about this artist's amazing work, so I'm leaving you with her recent photoshoot for Spoon (more downloads here) and a few more random shots.

Anna Tsuchiya

I remember falling in love with Chiaki Kuriyama's photobook a couple of years ago. It recreated a few popular fairytale, western and japanese ones, but didn't know about the photographer yet.

Yeah, Chiaki Kuriyama is amazing♥

She also does nature and animal photography, and it's as full of color as her fashion photography!

As I said, really worth visiting her whole gallery for more amazing shots, and also to read her bio.

All this is such big inspiration! I love colors (even if my drawings are mostly b&w), she makes me feel like painting with oils and acrylics in canvas! haha Maybe I'll try again soon!

Talking about other things, I can finally say it since I already booked the flights yesterday...
I'm going to London on the 26th! This is SO great!
It's been a couple of years since I went to London for the last time, and i can't wait!
SO, I want recommendations please!
I'll be a bit busy the first three days, but after that, I'll have a couple of days for myself, so I want interesting places to go! I've already been to the must-see places (big-ben, parliament, etc) so just pretty things!
So, any cool place, shops, museums, galleries, anything, I'm pretty open, so any suggestion is very welcome!

Carolina Glaser winter colection

Carolina Glaser has been advertising on their (staff and MEG's) blog and twitter their new collection for winter.
Again, neither MEG or the staff has said anything about how MEG's leave for Paris would affect the brand (as long as I know, since I can't read japanese that well), but that hasn't stopped them, since they've been showing us new pieces and coordinates for next fall.

Aren't the pants awesome? I think they look so comfy, but at the same time serious (as in, you could wear them for work, for example)

I'm kinda in love with these shoes. I wouldn't mind getting them.

Last words from MEG: now go and buy something for Sasa!

I think winter is the season for black (slims your figure, keeps you warmer than white, blah blah blah). But I still prefer lighter colors. From a few years back I've been trying to avoid black as much as I can. I still have a few pieces though, it comes in handy from time to time. But I think lighter colors make you happier and brightens your mood. Plus, they're easier to contrast with other clothes, making each piece and its details more visible.

As well as Japan is known for its hot summers, it's also known for its cold winters (and I can agree with that), thus this colection looks really comfortable and wearable for next winter.
Overall impression: I love this colection. I had the money, there would be few pieces I wouldn't buy.

Coordinate catch up #2

I've decided to make the coordinate catch up post weekly. This means you can expect a coordinate post every Friday c:
Also, as I've said a couple of times, I also like to cook. Well, more like I like to eat yummy things, thus I had to learn how to cook. This means I'll start to draw simple cooking recipes about yummy things I like, and I hope I can post them every Wednesday too. Hope I can keep up and that you all like it c:

Anyways, here we go with this past few days coordinates!

Sunday 18th. First one is from my friend's birthday party at her uncle's pool. It was in a place hidden in the woods... so hard to find! XD But we got there safely, so it was alright. I had my h&m floral onepi, flip-flops, pastel leopard bikini underneath, bag from Primark and my scarf-headband.
Monday 19th. Next day I had to go with my grandma to the hospital, since she was having minor surgery that day. Had to stay in the hospital all night thought. My outfit was pretty simple, but since I had lots of time, I drew it: braided fringe, Stradivarius t-shirt, h&m lace skirt and Blanco flats.

Friday 26th. I had a job interview and had to go fetch Mayuko at the airport that day. So I was running arround all the time that day! haha
Since I had a job interview, I decided to go a little (just a little!) formal. Blue oysho dress plus new cardi from Mango plus my Blanco-chanel flats. And my new necklace from Primark. yay.

Went to Parc Güell and had to be comfortable. So just wore a simple T-shirt, green shorts and sneakers with white socks. Plus, my EOS 350D and 2l of water. And my magnificient giraffe sunglasses.

August 3rd. This was a couple of days ago. My parents are going on vacation to Santiago de Compostela starting this Sunday and my sister went to my aunt's today, so we had dinner at a japanese restaurant to kinda say goodbye, haha. (That also was a personal celebration since the house is mine for a week! yay!)
I wore my purple on the sleeves Listen Flavor t-shirt (haven't been wearing anything from LF for a while! what's with me!) with my hight waisted checkered skirt from H&M (which I love to death). Plus Blanco flats and simple hair.

And these are just a couple of hairstyles i think are perfect for summer. Cute, stylish and fresh tehee.

My first Spoon

Spoon is a cute, girly magazine I started reading not too long ago. It's fresh, calm and has a lot of cute, amusing and pretty pics and articles (yes, it's not just a fashion magazine).
It also offers a different kind of fashion from what we're used to see (say, loli, mori, punk, ...). It's pretty more casual and simple, but still in the weird way (for non-used-to-it western people). But still, I really like it.

Mayuko got August issue for me. I was so happy when I opened the present! I couldn't believe it! Thank you so much Mayuko♥♥
She also got me a super cute lace headband I'll show you some day~

This is Emily temple cute's fall catalogue featured in this issue. So many cute things together!
I speciall like these first two dresses and the yellow dotted tights.

And look at those heels in the last pic. Aren't those cute! I love the tip ♥ so round! And they look pretty comfortable actually.

And guess who's sporting those pumps in her last concert? HA! As if you didn't know already XD

These really look cute, I already had an eye for them even before seeing that pic. This way I know I'm not MEG-biased.

In this issue they also feature a cat-train, with all its cat related goodies. Pretty cute

And a sweet guide to Tokio pastisseries and desert shops. Nice reference if you're there, and nice pics if you like food photography.

And a few shots of an editorial called Holiday in the park. There's another one in the magazine, with super sweet pictures (see cover) but I'll leave all that for another post, since the photographer herself deserves it.

Pingg invitation cards

Today, I've got some great news to share!

I recently created an account on Pingg, a site where you can send free cards to your friends, family, ...
It's a nice way to send a birthday card, an invitation to an event or whatever you want to send, since you can choose from a big variety of cards, since there are a lot of artists over there.

It's free for the users to enjoy, and they only charge you when you upgrade to get special features. Everything's clearly explained on the site.

You probably recognized a few of my drawings, since they've been posted here at one time or another.
And now you can send them, for free, to anyone you want! haha I hope someone gets as excited as me about this!

Back from hiatus and sad MEG news

I'm finally back! How's everyone been? Have you had a nice week? I surely did!
Mayuko went back to Japan on Wednesday, but I got laaazy and decided to take the whole week off! haha
She got me some super cute presents, so I'm going to post about them tomorrow, 'cos I feel pretty bad for leaving you all for so long u,u

And just after Mayuko left, I got to finish my dad's painitng since I had to give it to him a few hours ago, today's his birthday! He's already a 50 years old man!

Onto other things, I know some of you like MEG, some of you don't know much about her, and the rest haven't heard about her until this point.
Well, she's a singer/designer I really like and admire. She's got a lot of talent and is a person who stands for her own principles and a really integral person, as she recently has shown.

In this post, you can read a translated version of her own entry, were she explains she needs to take a break from everything.
As she says, her hobby, her dream has become work, which means she's not enjoying what she's doing anymore, so to not let her passion fade, she's taking some time for herself, she'll be leaving for Paris this spring in order to get new ideas and new inspirations (And yes, the idea of staying in Paris for a while this spring has crossed my mind... haha).

Her birthday party live in Puroland will be her last performance until who knows when. It hasn't been said what she'll do once she's back, since she's leaving her current label. She herself doesn't know yet. Nothing has been said about Carolina Glaser either.

I really hope the best for her, and I wish for her to fully charge her batteries and do a fierce come back.

I'm not fully back yet from my little break, but I have some free time and I wanted to post all this eyecandy you're about to see!

Wow, magazines come out faster than what I can read! (this, or I'm just lazy...)
Anyways, August and September's Zipper commented in this post, since I've seen a few things that catched my attention.

There are so many cuties on the August issue! I love to see pretty girls, and so, I have to share them with you all! Plus, nice hair arranges.

I love those kind of pages where they feature a piece of clothing being worn in diferent types of coordinates, or worn in a girlish and boyish way. So interesting!

I love Amo's coordinate in this shot, looks so comfortable and so pretty at the same time!
And the sailor one is my most favorite from this batch. Everything just looks so right! Love love love!

From September's issue, all I can say is, MILK's autumn collection! Featuring Amo! She looks a bit weird in the pics though. Weird meaning, she doesn't look like her. Cute anyways c:

I'm a bit sad to say this, but I'll pretty much will be taking a week off from bloggin'!
A friend's coming to stay at my house for a few days and so, I won't have much time to spend arround here (don't think I'll be commenting much on your entries either, I'm so sorry! But I promise I'll do a catch up when I'm back c:)

Anyways, good news! I got another job interview tomorrow! Just for the weekends, but at least it's something. I may be able to go to Manchester for Laura's birthday party if everything goes well ;A;
Also, my teacher said she got today my zoo card, so I can go for free anytime I want! yay! More animal drawings!
I'll go get it tomorrow too. And will go fetch Mayuko at the airport tomorrow too. I'll have a really packed day! hah

And remember I said something about a camera? Didn't get the subaquatic camera yesterday, since the one I wanted was sold out and I wanted to compare prices/properties before buying a different one. They're all 20€ or so above what I wanted to spend, but one has video recording too, so I'll probably get that one.

Video recording to film jellyfishes as big as the ones I saw last weekend! They were BIG! Creepy and cool at the same time! hhaa
There were a lot, but the sea is biiig, and deeeep, so it didn't look as if.

First drawing is what I think I saw. Translucent/white jellyfish with a bit of blue. About 30cm long.
My dad almost touched one accidentally! He freaked out a bit! haha

Then, I got home and searched on the internet which kind of jellyfish it was.
The closest one I could find wasn't exactly what I saw. At least I think so.
Rhizostoma pulmo. Scientific name.

So, do you have any nice experience with jellyfishes? Own a subaquatic camera? Any recommendations?♥

Wow, 4 days away, sorry for the absence!
I was planning on posting on Monday, as per usual, but had to stay at the hospital with my grandma. Even spent the night there, she didn't want to be alone since she couldn't move much and I didn't want her to be alone either.
Had minor surgery and she was perfectly fine from the moment she got back XD ordering people arround as usual.

So, today! I'm finally going to get my lovely new camera! A 5mp werlissa to take pictures underwater! If I can convince a friend, I'll go get it today, if not, I'll have to go tomorrow.
EDIT Convinced her! 8D And going to the beach tomorrow, so expect a cool post! bwaahah!

And well, I had some topics I wanted to talk about, some posts half done, but really, with all this hot weather, I'm tired because of the beach, and a few more lame excuses, I don't really want to think about writing any long post, so I'll just leave you with a class project. I didn't want to post it here until I had my portfolio more or less organized and ready to show XD but I don't have much of it done, so it's better to post it already.

Have you ever painted with oils?

I have. Once. Didn't like the outcome at all.
But that was like 6 years ago or so? So I wanted to try again. Mainly because I still have the oils (maybe they're not usable anymore though D: that would suck).
And why that change of mind you ask? My dad's birthday is in less than two weeks, and I wanted to give him something I know he'll like (he's been asking me to paint him something for a while...).
He hasn't asked for anything especific though, so I'm going to recreate a picture I took of him while he was in the middle of a race. Doing the horse with his boat... tsk

So, this is my dad! Tehee With his humm catalan skate? XD that's the translation I got... It's a boat more little than a catamaran, but more or less are the same.
He likes the sea as much as I do! He just explores it "overwater" while I do it underwater. He has a licence to drive (are boats driven??) boats while I'm an OWD.
I took this pictures while he was doing a race with his friends, they do that every Saturday (in summer, of course).

And because of all that, I'm going to try and paint him a canvas out of that pic and some more I have on my computer 8D wish me luck"

This year, I want to try to learn how to drive it. It looks like so much fun! And when he has an appointment on Saturdays and can't go to the race, I'll go in his place! bwahah xD

This is the sketch for the painting. I don't know what to do with the background. Leave it blue-everything you can see is the sea and the sky with a few clouds or as in the first pic, draw all the houses, the beach, etc
I'll probably do the first. Blue+blue looks easier to paint XD Plus, oils aren't my favorite technique, so I'll leave complex backgrounds for when I'm a little better with them.

Also, we (dad and I) were talking about if I could learn to drive his boat, and he said I could learn windsurf. He even said he'd pay for the classes!

I've never had much interest for windsurf, but of course I said yes! haha new things are always cool.

Bwahah can you picture me doing windsurf? Me neither, but I'm sure it will be a lot of fun!
